Fiddler Family Services acknowledges that we live and work on Treaty 6 Territory.
The traditional and ancestral land of the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux and Nakoda Sioux since time immemorial.
We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis and the Métis Nation of Alberta, along with Districts 1 to 22 within the historical North West Métis homeland.
We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us.
We recognize the land as an act of Reconciliation and Gratitude.

Fiddler Family
Services is committed to achieving the highest level of wellness and connectedness by
creating individualized programs for each family we serve.
Fiddler Family Services
respects and honours where each person is at in their healing journey and we strive to
meet them there. We believe that by being rooted in culture and traditional practices we
can help heal the hearts of each family member individually or as a whole through a trauma
informed lens.
Fiddler Family Services is proud and honoured to serve our Brothers and Sisters on their healing journey.
To grow families in our reunification home that are well equipped to parent their children in a safe, loving, nurturing and culturally sensitive environment; understanding the complexity of Indigenous issues that have been passed on through intergenerational trauma.
● Being led by our 7 Sacred/Grandfather teachings
● The best interests of children and their families remaining together
● Continuous Improvement
● The relevance of Indigenous perspectives and Indigenous knowledge
● The contribution of Elders in teaching us and guiding us in our practice
Fiddler Family Services is an Indigenous owned and operated agency that has 23 years of experience working in the child welfare system.
Our homes provide a culturally sensitive and supportive environment for families aiming to reunite after experiencing separation or potentially on the verge of being separated.
We integrate traditional teachings, ceremonies and practices into our programming to honour and strengthen Indigenous identities. The staff often, including Elders and community members, offer guidance counselling and resources to facilitate healing and connection within families while respecting Indigenous values and customs.
Our homes offer In House Therapy while prioritizing a holistic well-being, aiming to address not only immediate family dynamics but also historical and intergenerational trauma empowering families to heal and thrive together.
